Valentine's Day came and went with all sorts of ridiculous calls by leaders of other religious groups for their own followers to boycott the celebration of a 'pagan' festival. Of course i'm biased, but i'd defer and say that the celebration of an event named after a supposedly pagan saint does not equate to celebrating that saint himself.
And so OCF turned Valentine's Day into a day of celebrations where we celebrated love. Human love, friendship, and of course, the Love of Jesus. We had 8 different groups come up to perform secular song items and that was followed by a stunning testimony by Rachael and a short time of worship after that.

This was a presentation by our group. Kudos to all the geniuses who came up with the song arrangement. And yes, that's me with the huge bow tie that was tied by Suwan. And by the way, we won the competition and got a whole bag of M&S foodstuffs.
And this is a hilarious video of Stephen Kim learning Singlish. He went from Korea to America, comes to London for exchange and hangs out with Singaporeans learning our lingo. Way to go steve!
Below are the other great performances by the other groups on Friday, 13 Feb 2009
#1 - Gordon with "I Will be Here" by Steven Curtis Chapman

#3 - Shawn doing his boyband thing which he does really well
